My name is Teun Reyneveld and I live in the Netherlands. During a recent vacation in Oregon I was invited by my cousins Tom and Bill DeJong to go pheasant and chuck hunting. It was a great day. Upon arrival at the Rising Sun Ranch we were welcomed by the owner and his wife. Shortly thereafter the owner and his two hunting dogs left on his motorcycle to put out the pheasants. After a while he came back without the pheasants. He had hidden them under bushes in a way that I had never heard off nor seen before. Now it was our turn, for both us and the dogs the excitement began. The dogs were very well trained and were able to find the pheasants. They would try to get away from the dogs only to be shot at by us. We did shoot most of them down. Thank you Rising Sun for making this possible. It was a wonderful and unforgettable day.
